Gutter Repair and Installation in California, KY

Gutters do one quiet job: move roof water away from your home. When they sag, leak or spill over, the damage shows up later in rotted fascia, stained siding and a wet basement. We repair or replace them before that happens, on a schedule that suits you.

Gutters That Carry Water Where It Belongs

A single inch of rain on an average roof sends hundreds of gallons toward the edges. Your gutters catch it, and your downspouts decide where it lands. If either part is undersized, pitched wrong or pulling loose, that water finds the fascia board, the wall below or the soil against your foundation.

We look at the whole path: the roof edge and drip edge, the gutter run, the hangers, the downspouts and where they discharge. Then we tell you plainly whether a repair will do or the system is due for replacement, so you can plan the cost instead of reacting to it.

Freeze and thaw cycles through a Northern Kentucky winter are hard on gutters that already hold standing water, which is why we like to catch small problems in the fall.

What Our Gutter Work Covers

One-piece aluminum gutters
We bend each gutter from a coil of aluminum right in your driveway and cut it to fit the full run. Joints only appear where a corner or downspout needs one, and fewer joints means fewer drips.
Sizing for your roof
Steep or large roof sections can overwhelm a standard 5-inch gutter. We check roof area and pitch, then recommend 5-inch or 6-inch K-style and the downspout size to match.
Repairs and re-pitching
Sagging runs, leaking corners and loose end caps can often be fixed. We reseal joints, replace failed hangers and reset the slope so water heads to the outlet instead of pooling.
Downspouts and discharge
We place downspouts where they drain well and add extensions or elbows to move water a few feet from your foundation.
Fascia check
Before new gutters go up, we probe the fascia board behind them. Soft wood gets pointed out with photos, so nothing is hidden behind fresh aluminum.
Gutter guards, if they fit
If your home sits under heavy tree cover, we can talk through guards. We will tell you honestly when they help and when regular cleaning is the better value.

Signs Your Gutters Need Attention

  • Water spilling over the edge

Overflow during a steady rain usually means a clog, a bad pitch or a gutter too small for the roof above it.

  • Sagging or pulling away

Gutters that droop between hangers hold water and get heavier. In winter that weight includes ice.

  • Peeling paint or stains below

Streaks on siding or flaking paint on the fascia often trace back to a leaking seam or water running behind the gutter.

  • Puddles near the foundation

Soggy beds, washed-out mulch or a damp basement corner can point to a downspout that dumps water right against the house.

  • Rust, cracks or separated joints

Older steel and sectional gutters wear out at the joints first. Once several are failing, replacement is often the smarter plan.

How a Gutter Job Goes

  1. 1

    Free look and honest answer

We walk the gutter lines, check the fascia and roof edge and note where water is landing. You get our repair-or-replace answer and photos of what we found.

  2. 2

    Written estimate

Your estimate lists each item: footage, gutter size, downspouts, fascia repairs and haul-away. You can take your time and decide when the work fits your budget.

  3. 3

    Work day

Most homes take a day. We remove old gutters, fix any soft fascia, form the new one-piece runs, set hangers and slope, then hang the downspouts.

  4. 4

    Water test and haul-away

We run water through every run from its far end, and you can see for yourself that it reaches the outlets. The old metal, screws and trimmings ride away in our truck, not in your trash can.

What Moves the Cost of Gutters

Gutter pricing comes down to a handful of things we can measure on your home. Each one gets its own line on the estimate we hand you, so nothing is lumped together. Ask about our current offer: Limited Time — $50 Off Your First Service Call.

Linear footage and stories
More feet of gutter costs more, and second-story runs need taller ladders and more setup time.
Gutter and downspout size
Six-inch gutters and larger downspouts use more material but may be needed for steep or large roof sections.
Fascia condition
New gutters are only as solid as the board they screw into. Any soft sections of fascia get swapped out first, and that is the one line we can only price after probing the wood.
Corners and roof layout
A simple ranch with two long runs is quicker than a home with many inside and outside corners, each needing a mitered joint.
Guards and extensions
Gutter guards and longer downspout extensions are add-ons we price separately, so you can choose.

What Homeowners Ask Us About Gutters

Something not covered here? (859) 407-7419

Is it worth fixing my old gutters, or is it time for new ones?

A system that is mostly sound, with a couple of drippy corners or one low section, is usually worth fixing. Once rust, split seams and loose hangers turn up along most of the runs, the patching adds up faster than a new system would cost. We share photos and price both paths so you can compare.

When is the best time to replace gutters?

Late summer and early fall work well. It gives you a clear system before leaves drop and before freezing weather puts ice weight on the gutters. Planning ahead also means you are not waiting in line after a big storm.

Can you replace gutters without a new roof?

Yes. Gutters hang on the fascia, so we can replace them on their own. If the shingles we see along the edge look like they are nearing their last few years, we will say so, because pairing gutters with a roof replacement saves working the same edge twice.

Are gutter guards worth it?

They help most on homes under tall trees that drop leaves and seed pods. They are not maintenance-free, and some styles struggle with heavy rain on steep roofs. We will tell you if they make sense for your home or if a yearly cleaning is enough.

How long does installation take?

Most single-family homes are finished in one day, including cleanup. Fascia repairs or a larger home can add time, and we will tell you that when we give your estimate.
